I have owned a limited number of vehicles in life, and this was actually the first time I bought a new used car from a dealer. I had been reviewing auto sales options online and in-person and after seeing an earlier year Toyota Prius online with excellent mileage, I decided to head over in person. There are several things I like about Rocha Auto Sales: (1) There was no pressure. I had a good idea of the types, design, and colors I was looking for and I was free to look around on my own; (2) I asked several questions and they clearly communicated the answers to each one; (3) Once I decided to go for it, the purchasing process was smooth and they made it as easy as possible; (4) In addition, all staff including Mitchel, Austin, and Michael Jr. & Sr. took the time to respond to basic auto, contractual, and maintenance questions I had days and even many weeks later.
In the process of transferring the official title, a VIN # error involving only one # made by an outside unknown source delayed that process for six months (possibly pandemic-related delay), but I was able to have the auto license sign renewed every 45 days in-person. Rocha Staff were helpful, we were all patiently waiting, and finally Owner Michael Sr. ended the delay by finding an opening and driving the car over to Tacoma for an appt. for its review and certification. Not only that, but Michael Sr. also filled the gas tank and purchased an electronic backup key for me which was totally unexpected and extremely beneficial. My car runs like a charm.
From my experience, these people are helpful, responsible, personable, willing to take time to meet customer needs, and honest and direct about their product (pros & cons). I would definitely consider buying from them again or recommending Rocha Auto Sales. It's clear they want people to feel comfortable and content with their purchase.
